To raise funds for the 2023 RAF Harrowbeer 1940s Weekend, we held a 1940s Dance at the Woolwell Community Centre, Darklake Lane, Woolwell, Plymouth, PL6 7TR, on the 25th March 2023, from 7.30pm.

Music was provided by the 18 piece, Dave Hankin Big Band led by Bern Stewart. Lots of you came along and danced the night away to the sound of 1940s big band music. Some came simply to soak up the atmosphere as we created a little bit of 1940s nostalgia! It was a great evening and lovely to see so many enjoying themselves.

Ticket price included a pasty supper and there was a licenced bar on-site.
